COVID-19 INFORMATION

COVID-19 information for UH Mānoa students 

The health and well-being of our student body is the ASUH's top priority. Please make sure to always be alert, stay informed and practice good hygiene. Check out the links below for COVID-19 information. 

WHAT CHANGED ON-CAMPUS?

 

All UH Campuses are CLOSED to the public and are OPEN TO ONLY UH AFFILIATED STUDENTS & FACULTY (UH ID required for verification)

  • Limited number of buildings will remain open. Only one entrance shall be accessible during "regular" business hours (7:45 a.m. to 4:30 pm.). 

    • A notice will be posted on the building to indicate which door is operable

  • For those buildings that are still open, only a limited number of restrooms will be open. 

    • A notice will be posted on the building to indicate which bathrooms are open and closed.

Academic Changes

  • All classes have been moved to ONLINE INSTRUCTION for Academic Year 2020-2021, including Summer Session I and II 2021

Availability of Student Services

  • Most student services offices are PHYSICALLY CLOSED but they remain FUNCTIONAL ONLINE at typical hours unless otherwise noted. 

    • To access offices such as the Women’s Center, Student Veteran Services, and others please email them or give them a call.

  • Essential offices for students are still PHYSICALLY OPEN and they are as follows: 

    • University Health Services

    • Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC)

    • Student Housing Services

      • Information on procedures and services can be found here

Libraries

  • Sinclair Library is CLOSED to the public and is OPEN TO ONLY UH AFFILIATED MEMBERS (UH ID required for entry)

  • Hamilton Library is CLOSED to the public and is OPEN TO ONLY UH AFFILIATED MEMBERS (UH ID required for entry)

Campus Center

  • Campus Center Complex is OPEN for specific services

    • More information on obtaining Student IDs and opening hours can be found here

  • The Warrior Rec Center is OPEN

    • Information surrounding the WRC can be found here

  • UHM Bookstore is PHYSICALLY OPEN and continue to service students, faculty, and staff for their school and work essentials, but all other customers are encouraged to shop online

Food on Campus

  • Campus Center Food Court is OPEN

    • More information on opening hours and dining options can be found here

  • Paradise Palms dining area is OPEN but only selective eateries are open with reduced hours

Dorms

  • UHM Dormitories are OPEN

    • The Hale Aloha and Gateway House will be doing TAKE-OUT ONLY

    • The Market is still OPEN

Parking

  • The parking structures will be RESTRICTED to current parking pass holders ONLY

  • Upper campus parking is available for UH Affiliated members

    • Daily flat rate of $5

  • Parking regulations are still in effect and will be enforced

  • Waialae and Varsity gates to enter lower campus are CLOSED

  • WHAT'S OPEN ON CAMPUS [UH MANOA]?

    • Pursuant to the State of Hawai'i stay-at-home order, non-essential businesses and organizations are closed to the public. This also applies to most offices on the UH Mānoa campus.   • ONLINE LEARNING

    • To combat the spread of the COVID-19, all UH classes will now be conducted online for the remainder of the Spring semester and for Summer Session I.

  • UH STUDENT BASIC NEEDS

    • Basic needs include, but are not limited to, food and housing, clothing, childcare, mental health, financial resources and transportation. At some point in your educational journey, you may face challenges in accessing adequate amounts of food, housing, financial or other resources. This is called basic needs insecurity and millions of college students experience it each year. To ensure that basic needs are met for all UH students, a list of on-campus resources and those available in the surrounding community are listed below.
