The ASUH helps fund students pursuing academic, special interest, or community events, projects and programs.

EVENT & PROGRAM FUNDING
ASUH helps fund Registered Independent Organizations (RIO's) on campus, as well as other University events and programs.

Register Independent Organization (RIO) Funding
Reviewed by the Committee on Finance. RIO funding is made available at the beginning of every semester and is intended to support RIOs in enriching the undergraduate student body through events and workshops. RIOs must be registered with Student Life and Development at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa to be qualified. Additional RIO support can be found through SAPFB.

Senate Act Funding
Reviewed by the ASUH General Senate. Senate Act funding is made available to University programs, organizations, and individuals that seek funding through legislative appropriation by the ASUH Senate. This funding is initiated by contacting an appropriate representative or senator to support a Senate Bill through the senate. Email asuh@hawaii.edu to reach out to the Senate. RIOs may not apply for Senate Act Funding.
ASUH SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS
In order to apply for any of our Scholarships or awards, you must be a full-time, classified undergraduate student at UH Mānoa to be eligible. Other requirements (such as GPA, etc.) are indicated on the application information page.

ASUH Scholarship
Reviewed by the Committee on Undergraduate Academic Affairs. The ASUH Scholarship is divided into three categories under which students with exceptional academic achievement, high financial need, and unique situations are recognized with scholarship funding. Full-time, classified undergraduate students at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) are eligible to apply for one of the three available categories.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT APPLICATION

Community Engagement Scholarship
The ASUH Community Engagement Scholarship was created to recognize and reward students who continuously work on creating a positive impact in their community. The Native Hawaiian values mālama and kuleana, loosely translated respectively as “to take care of” and “responsibility,” were the source of inspiration for scholarship. Full-time, classified undergraduate students at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM) are eligible to apply.

Research Award
Reviewed by the Committee on Undergraduate Academic Affairs. The ASUH Research Award is intended to financially aid UHM full time, classified undergraduate students in pursuing research or attending conferences. For additional undergraduate research funding opportunities, visit the Office of Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program.

GRAD TEST PREP AWARD APPLICATION

Graduate Test Preparation Award
Also called the "Grad Test Prep Award." Reviewed by the Committee on Undergraduate Academic Affairs. The ASUH Grad Test Prep Award assists UHM full time, classified undergraduate students financially for graduate test costs such as the MCAT, DAT, GRE, LSAT (and more) and/or prep courses and study materials.

Study Abroad Scholarship
Reviewed by the Committee on Undergraduate Academic Affairs. The ASUH Study Abroad Scholarship was created to engage globally interested students by sharing the impact of studying abroad. By engaging study abroad students, we hope that this will help ASUH learn how to enhance the student life on this campus and further encourage students to take on great academic opportunities.
